Why does the price rise toward the high band?
The closer the work gets to full-time leadership dependency, the more availability and opportunity cost it consumes. The higher bands price that dependency explicitly.
Do you personally do the design work?
Not by default. I lead, critique, structure, and unblock. Personal design execution is scoped separately only when it is strategically appropriate.
Is this cheaper than hiring a Head of Product or Head of UX?
