Meaning might be the final human advantage over AI.

With the rise of AI and automation, let’s be clear:

• Yes, you can, and will need to eventually reskill.
• Yes, you can pivot.
• Yes, you can outlearn the machine, for now.

But long-term?

• AI will outperform your cognitive skills.
• Robots will outperform your physical labor.
• Systems will replicate your workflows.

Even creative and strategic roles aren’t safe forever.

So if the question is:
“How do I stay useful?”
Maybe we’re asking the wrong question.

Usefulness is what the system values, but meaning is what we, as humans, value.

And maybe that’s the difference.

You can automate productivity, and optimize performance all you want, but there’s one thing you can’t do, at least not yet:
You can’t mass-produce presence, nor can you scale ritual, beauty, care, or connection.

Not everything human needs to be efficient.
Some things are sacred because they’re slow, intimate, imperfect, or unscalable.

Maybe that’s what we need to protect going forward, and maybe that’s what we need to build with.

Not systems that serve users, but systems that honour our humanity, even if they’re not “efficient” or “high growth.”

I believe that in the end, it won’t be the smartest or most optimized people who survive.

It’ll be the ones who create something others want to feel.
